2001 Let’s go back to the beginning… down on my luck, no money to pay the mortgage I picked up an appliance left in the street, took it home & after a few hours and a trusty Haynes manual on washing Machine Repair I had my first product to sell “Richard’s Boot sale Refurbished Appliances”(started getting Rained Off) 100 or so sales later of Washers… Now that I had proved the validity of the business I went off to get trained on appliance repairs with the man that literally wrote the book on appliance repairs, Graham Dixon, I had no money to pay for the course so I negotiated with Graham and he accepted a small deposit & a few monthly payments, a few weeks later I was freshly trained, I was ready and confident to safely refurb Domestic appliances… or so I thought. The safety part was true, but now the fun starts… working from the time the Cock Sings (LOL) til early hours of the morning for years, could only summon the energy because I LOVED IT, Buying & Finding Scrap Domestic appliances & revitalising them, it was a magical time, I could smell an unloved appliance somehow… I was just magnetized to them!
2001 With A £1400 Loan from a friend I bought an Ex Post Office LDV 200 & opened All Bubble No Squeak In Eight Ash Green. Selling refurbished Appliances.
1000 or so Appliances & Dysons stripped down & refurbed later… time for a new challenge…
2003 I Shut the shop & Concentrated on In-home appliance repairs.
2007 Changed the Name to Appliance Repairman Ltd (because I wanted to repair more than just Washers & Dryers & be more professional) 4000 In-home Repairs later I started studying marketing & began getting busy enough to employ engineers.
2008 I was Joined By Paul Davies & Lee Rawlins
2018 Lee Decided to become a Long Distance Lorry Driver
2020 Vad Joined the Team from another company after 7 years of service. Together we’ve managed to repair over 50,000 appliances over the years and today we’re able to complete about 90-100 repairs a week.
2021 VAT Registration, the last milestone before Appliance Repairman Ltd Vision Takes Off!
The vision includes Appliance Repair Training & Charity, Association of Repairmen, Franchise, Fixed Price Repairs, Various Payment Options, National Supplier of Parts & Appliances & Maybe Research & Development of Solid repairable Domestic Appliances. 1000+ Family Members & Family Property Portfolio Partnership!

Oven Not Working: Check Clock - Timer & Set, it needs to be in manual mode or set to a time for the oven to work (stop the clock flashing)
Grill No Heat
