How much will my repair cost?
This depends on fault, however we charge £35 for diagnosis (if we can diagnose with 100% certainty, if not it’s free & we will walk away).
The diagnosis charge is taken off of our standard charge not added too! So you will either pay our standard labour which includes all labour, all visits & diagnosis or you will pay just the diagnosis charge.
What are my payment options?
We accept most payment types with our new Chip & Pin plus Cheques, BACs & Paypal.
What if my machine is not viable to repair?
If your Appliance is not worth fixing we only charge for diagnosis, which is £35.
Washing Machine doesn't drain?
Please first check your drainage filter on the bottom of the washer. There could be debris such as coins stuck which can cause malfunction. If there is no blockage or the problems still persist when removed call Appliance Repairman and we will come and get your machine draining again.
Washing Machine isn't spinning?
Are there only one or two items in the machine? With modern technology, some machines do not spin with lighter loads or if overloaded. Please try with additional items or less first and if the problem continues please call Appliance Repairman
Oven is not working?
Is the clock flashing? If so, please set the time of day on the clock and/or change the settings to manual. This is a common problem that is easily fixed. If however, the problem persists please call Appliance Repairman
Dishwasher does not drain!
Please check the drain for any blockages. If there is no blockage or the problems still persist when removed, call Appliance Repairman for guaranteed, speedy repairs.
Electric hob is not working
Check if the light is on at the power source. If it is not there may be a problem with the consumer unit and the switch is tripped. Reset & see if working. If not call Appliance repairman.

All appliances have their issues, causes & effects when they break down, below are some of the regular repair problems that we can solve quickly… some you may be able to resolve by some simple checks.
Oven Repair Problems!
My Oven is Cold or won’t heat up, but the fan is going?
This is typically the Fan oven element.
My Oven is Over Heating or burning everything?
This could be the Oven thermostat.
My Oven isn’t getting hot enough?
This could be the fan is not turning. or an element has failed/blown
My oven door glass has fallen out?
This could be the sealant holding the glass in.
My oven is not getting to the correct temperature?
Answer 1… If Conventional Oven, it could be an element has failed!
Answer 2… If Fan Oven, the fan is weak or has failed!
Tip… If the fan is not turning try flicking with a knife, it may be a temp fix!
My oven is dead?
Answer 1… If no lights try the main fusebox or kitchen cooker isolator (big red switch normally)
Answer 2… If there are lights but not reacting, then this could be in Auto mode!
Tip… Refer to the Instructions to reset the timer 🙂

Washer Repair Problems!
My Washing Machine is Cold or won’t heat up?
This is typically the heating element.
My Washing Machine is Over Heating?
This could be the thermostat.
My Washing Machine Is Not Draining?
Answer… This could be a drain pump blockage or failure.
Tip… Check Your Manufacturers Guidelines for an unblocking filter.
My Washing Machine Is Not Spinning?
This could be the motor brushes.
Note… Your Washer will not spin if it doesn’t drain or is out of balance!
My Washing Machine Tripped the Electric?
This could be the motor or Heating element.
My Washing Machine Blew Fuse In The Plug?
This could be the Door Interlock.

Tumble Dryer Problems
My Tumble Dryer is not drying?
Answer 1… This is typically the heater element But it could be a thermal overload Cut-Out (TOC)!
Tip… on some dryers, they have a reset on the back of the appliance.
Answer 2… It could also be that the water reservoir is full or blocked.
My Tumble Dryer Has Tripped the electric?
Answer… This could be the motor or the heater element!.
My Tumble Dryer is not Turning?
Answer… This Could be the belt, motor or motor starters.
My Dryer blew the fuse in the plug?
Answer… This is probably the door micro switch aka interlock!.

Dishwasher Problems
My Dishwasher is Cold or won’t heat up?
Answer… This is typically the heating element.
My Dishwasher is Over Heating?
Answer… This could be the thermostat.
My Dishwasher is Not Draining?
Answer… This could be a drain pump blockage or failure.
Tip… Check the manufacturer’s guidelines to see if access can be gained to the impellor
My Dishwasher is not cleaning properly?
Answer… This could be the heater element.
Symptoms: Tablet is sitting in the base undissolved.
Other actions: Clean Inside of dishwasher with cleaner & remover all food debris from sump/filter
Cleaners: Always Use Manufacturer approved… I have personally used Baking soda, white vinegar, lemon juice… not at the same time & under instruction (check Youtube :).
My Dishwasher is not dropping the tablet?
Answer… This could be the door mechanism.
Tip… Try putting the tablet into the cutlery basket, the tablet won’t dissolve until water heats!
My Dishwasher is continually draining?
Answer… This is probably the sump protection sensor, it means the base of the dishwasher has filled with water!
